It is well known that salt can cause increase your blood pressure. Recent research has shown that beverages containing sugar, such as soda and fruit juice, can also increase your blood pressure. The worse thing a person can do is to combine the two; such as "enjoying" a bag of chips and a soda with your lunch. This can double your risk of developing high blood pressure.
