We don't get enough sleep even though it is a critical lifestyle factor for wellness. Getting less than four hours of sleep is the most predictive lifestyle factor predicting morbidity and mortality. Missing just four hours of sleep for one night reduces immunity by 30%. Sleep deprivation in the long term is a potent risk factor for cancer, heart disease, diabetes, hypertension, obesity, osteoporosis, plus we don't feel well and are fatigued.
