The importance of getting to an emergency room immediately can be critical in dissolving the clot. The action of aspirin and ginkgo biloba in the setting of a stroke are reviewed. Until we have comparative studies on the wide range of anticoagulants such as Plavix, aspirin, Coumadin, fish oil, ginkgo biloba, nattokinase, bromelain, and many others, we won't know which most effective.
